Celebrating Family Matters

For fifty years, St Richard’s Church, has been at the heart of the community. In times of sadness and times of joy, the Church has provided a warm welcome, comfort and the hand of friendship.

This March, we are holding a series of events that celebrate our place within this community, whilst giving you the chance to see for yourselves what goes on here, to talk to people and ask questions and, if we can, to make the links between us even closer.

Please look at the programme of events. There’s bound to be something there for you. Guest speakers will also take the opportunity to share a short message, talking about Jesus and what he means to them.

Family Fun Day (Saturday 6th March 2.30 - 4.30)
FREE for families with children up to 11 years of age. Puppet show, fun and games. Tasty refreshments included. For more details call 669629

Music Café (Saturday 6th March 7.30)
Enjoy popular music and songs from the last five decades performed in a relaxed ambience by Duncan Fraser and his Group.
£4 each (please note, adults only) including cheese, wine and other refreshments.

Say It With Flowers (Sunday 7th March 3.00)
A special service of thanksgiving for the lives of loved ones who have died recently or longer ago.
FREE commemorative flowers provided. Refreshments after the service.

Songs of Praise (Sunday 7th March 6.30)
Enjoy singing favourite hymns and choruses led by our worship group of singers and musicians in this informal praise service. Refreshments to follow.

Drop in Café (9th,11th &12th March 10.00 - 12.00)
Good company with coffee and cake at only 50p per person. Everybody welcome!
